Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I would describe my style as very natural and true-to-life. I love to capture the natural colors and lighting of each session and my editing style is to keep this as close to what was seen by the eye as possible. I love to create natural interaction and expressions as I believe that this makes for the best photos. I commonly use "prompts" to help create this look instead of posing. Depending on what is envisioned these can be fun and silly, sweet and romantic, etc. A few examples of silly prompts could be "quick! Run towards me!" or "look at the person with the smelliest feet!". A few examples of sweet and romantic could be "hug each other close and tightly, as if it were a goodbye hug", or "put your foreheads together and think about your favorite thing about the other person".

Q: How do we book a session?

A: Upon inquiring about a session, I will usually ask a few questions to find out exactly what type of session you are interested in. I will either send you my price guide, or refer to you to my price guides on my website under the "investment" tab. I require payment of the non-refundable session fee, as well as a signed contract in order to book the session. I will collect payment via either card (via Square), cash, or check. The contract can be digitally completed via a website link that I will send you.

Q: Do you know of any good locations? Do we pick location, or do you?

A: Yes, I know of several great locations! I am also open to any location suggestions you may have. My portrait packages include up to 50 RT miles from 97355, but I am also willing to travel father at a rate of .75/mile.

Q: When is the best time of day to do our photo session?

A: Typically the hour or so before sunset or the hour after sunrise is the best time for photos. The light is nice and soft. After all, who likes photos where you have to squint, or where the light is so bright that it makes for bright/uneven skin, etc.? No thank you! Cloudy days are a little easier to do photos during non-sunset times, as the clouds act as a natural light diffuser and helps make for even lighting

Q: How many photos do we get?

A: This is dependent on which collection you choose to purchase. For portrait sessions, my collection options are 5/15/full gallery (typically 25-40 images). For portrait sessions, I do a "soft edit" of the full gallery and then upload them to a "proof" gallery for you to look through and then you can decide which collection you would like to purchase. For weddings, this depends on how many hours are being covered (typically 50 images/hour of coverage).

Q: How long until we get our photos?

A: I will typically deliver the "proof" gallery within a few days of the session for you to choose your images. Upon selection of images/collection, I will then do final editing which should take no more than a week. Providing you select your images in a timely manner, you should have your final images within 2-3 weeks.

Q: How do we get our images?

A: Images will be delivered via digital download through my website.

Q: Do you give us all of the unedited/raw images also?

A: No, I do not release unedited/raw images under any circumstance. Only images that I deem acceptable will be provided in the full gallery. Any final images that will be provided will be edited. This is to ensure an accurate representation of my work. RAW images is also a format that you have to have special software that converts the images in order to be able to viewed.

Q: Do you sell gift certificates?

A: Yes, I do! If you would like to purchase one, just let me know! They make perfect gifts!

Q: Do you offer prints and other products?

A: Yes, I do! All of my collections include a certain number and size of prints. I also offer more prints as well as products. Prices for these are also listed under the "investment" tab.
