KHL Photography is located in Council (Mesa) Idaho, a beautiful high desert region! I would describe my style as very natural and true-to-life. I love to capture the natural colors and lighting of each session, and my editing style is to keep this as close to what was seen by the eye as possible. My goal is to provide you with high quality images, heirloom products, as well as a special one-of-a-kind experience from start to finish.

          My passion for photography began when I was 7 years old when my dad gave me his 1976 Pentax film camera that he used to document his travels as he drove truck across the country. Since then, my camera has never left my side.

          I grew up in a tiny little town of approximately 8,000 people, where everyone knew everyone, and everyone was your friend. Growing up on a farm, I was raised around animals and livestock. I graduated from Oregon State University in 2014, with a degree in Animal Science. Do you have fur babies or farm animals that you'd like to be included in your photo sessions as well? Lets do it!

         My husband (Dillon) and I are avid outdoor people who love to go on hikes to waterfalls, camp, and just enjoy nature. We met in high school back in 2006 and married in 2015. Our daughter (MaKenna) was born in 2019. Our other favorite hobby is country western dancing.

         I've worked with children for most of my life, so you'll likely find me being a complete goof during your session in an attempt to bring out everyones natural energy, laughter, and interaction!
